What I think of CyberArts

At first I thought that CyberArts was going to be all cartoons and all the stuff I liked but there was alot of things that I had to do other than that stuff. Infact the program seemed to get really complicated at first because when I joined I barely new anything about compters or anything like that I was okay with art because it wasn't really my weakness even though I wasn't the best drawer nore was I the best painter But at least I was able to do it. But in tech now thats a differint story when I was learning to do graphic design I was really bad at it especially with the logo assigniment I was even finished it when it was long due but luckily on take your kids to work day I had the whole entire period to myself which ment that I was able to finish my logo. After that I was pretty caught up with everything that is till the ending of the semester But the future of my sucess is stll a mystery.

Jock Macdonald prezi project

Today i'm going to talk about my prezi project I was working on recently. The topic is on Jock Macdonald. He was a surreal artist that was very interested in watercolor and oil painting. He was a canadian artist and he was also a design teacher. He was a important figure in the development of abstract art. I chose Jock macdonald out of a random pick because I really didn't know who to choose to be honest but when I started to learn about macdonald I realized that he was a very interesting artist with a very interesting story.

It was kind of fun creating the prezi because I fooled around with it a little bit like I would make the computers look like that they were falling over I would put funny angry birds posters ont the wall. It was a bit tough finding the names of the paintings he made and all the painting that I did find the name of were unfortunitly untitled. but at least I was able to find the year that some of the paintings were made in.

I was really nervous when I came back from the holidays because I didn't even touch my computer and I barely even had the prezi done which was really bad so I started working on it when I saw everone else working on it I was afraid that I wouldn't turn Out that good but when it was finished it turned out pretty good after all.

Stop motion project

Today I'm going to talk about my stop motion project that I was was working on with my group. The project was based on an alien man who decides to walk around town and enjoy the outdors until a series of catastrophes occur and ruins the alien's day.

One by one the situation gets worse a dog bites off the alien's ear then the alien gets crused by a giant ball and last but not least a jet comes crashing down crushing the poor alien into a ball.

The stop motion took a few weeks to make. We made a few mistakes and corrected them. we made our special effects, we took what we would call breaks, etc.

To be honest I personlly thought that the stop motion was going to be a complete disaster because of my group's lack of focus and team work but the good news is I was wrong because this project turned out pretty good in the end. :)

Graffiti I in a cage

Today i'm going to talk about this picture I took of this grafiti. As you can see I took this picture behind these bars to frame the art work. When I look at this picture I see a bit of rule of thirds and a minimal amount of leading lines because the bricks are getting smaller on the right hand side. I think that this picture is very interesting and artistic. I find it very appealing.

I wonder what this graffiti says.
I don't think that whatever it says is very nice but, I still think that it was a good idea to take this picture because I felt that this art was the only thing around me that was appealing. I think that I should have focused on the graffiti and blurred out the rest of it to make it look really cool as if I was looking directly at the art work to add a more surreal effect. Since the graffiti is supposed to be the focus of the picture any ways.

This Minecraft logo is typographic because it is made completely out of words. It was made to represent a game. Lots of people would know what this logo would mean because this is a video game that lots of people like to play like "Hey I know that game! That's Minecraft!" Even though it says minecraft on the logo some people like me would just know because of the texture of the logo. Sometimes the company that created the Minecraft logo "Mojang" takes away all the letters and just leaves the "A" and I still know what that would mean and i'm pretty sure other people would too.
I see in this logo the elements of design because I noticed how the words were made out of lines, they were made out of shape even though all the words are the colour grey they are different shades of grey to make a shadow effect thats why I think that this logo has a good element of colour.

This logo is a pictographic logo because it has no words but we are still able to understand what this logo would probably mean because of the lighting I see space in this logo I can see lines and of course I can see shape because of the lighting strike. Like the Nike logo this logo is just a simple shape that I believe is very catchy.

This logo is abstract. The elements of design it has is lines, colour,
and shape. It's a really eye popping image. I like the shininess of this logo a lot it's very catchy Out of all of the logos I think that this one is the most interesting

My chesspeice

Scanned Chess piece                                                                     Photographed under light

Today i'm going to show you my chess piece drawings. I first took a picture of the photo under the light to see how it would look it looked yellow at first then we edited the camera and the colour was fixed but the black spots were shiny so I had to edit that to make it look better.

After that I went outside to take another picture of it. It turned out better than the first even though the wind kept blowing it away. When I finally got it to hold I took the picture at least it wasn't shiny like before.

I went back inside to scan my chess piece. I had a problem with the scanner at first but then I got it fixed. After I scanned it I think that it turned out better than the rest because of the brightness plus I didn't need to edit it.

The elements of design I used was line, shape and space. The lines I  have in my chess piece are horizontal and diagonal in the background. The space is equal between the lines and the shape I made is neat with the alinement. The shading I made made the the chess piece 3D witch I really liked because I don't usually draw like this.

I like the way that I made this drawing I love the shade I love the shape but as you can probably can see that in the back the curved lines aren't exactly equal that is one of the mistakes that I made during this drawing

Dominance

Hello everyone! This is your friendly neighbour Spiderman, and i'm going to talk about Dominance. Dominance is a photographed image that has colour that stands out of the picture. It is meant to attract the attention of people. Sometimes it makes a stronger effect on some people more than others. When different colours are seen in the image they could create an appealing picture. Opting for this photography could give you a unique and stunning approach to taking photos.
